This kit links both batteries for charging, but automatically isolates them whilst discharging. The display unit features a manual over-ride option. The exceptional performance of these batteries comes from the use of spiral wound AGM grids, tightly packed in sealed cells. This results in a sealed, maintenance free battery which is easy to charge, and very resistant to deep discharge cycles. This makes it ideal for use in 4x4 vehicles in both starting and winching applications. The MAX900DC Deep Cycle battery has the edge in heavy winching applications due to its extra resistance to heavy discharge cycles that would damage normal batteries. For ease of mounting the batteries feature mounting holes near the center that run top to bottom through the entire case. The MAX900DC also features an extra set of wing nut terminals on the top of the battery.

This is the GENUINE Landrover "S" type towing socket kit. This kit has the loom, the split charge diode and relays, the socket and the fixing brakets. (This kit is for the 110 but it will fit the 90 if you coil the loom). The Split Charge facility means that you are able to supply current from the tow vehicle to a split charge unit in the trailer or caravan that you are towing (caravan or horse box interior lights or a caravan fridge for example).
