 HAWKEYE is a self contained, handheld diagnostic tool that does not require a PC or laptop to operate. The unit takes its power directly from the vehicle, and is robust and simple to operate making it ideal for home or trade use. the unit comes bundled with an EOBD J1962 cable to connect to the vehicle (other cables are available as an optional extra). Initially it will be configured for the model that you specify, but additional software "keys" can be purchased to allow the unit to be used on a range of Landrover models. Currently the unit can be used on the following models:
Defender (up to '07)
Freelander 1
Discovery 1, 2, and 3
Range Rover Classic, P38
Range Rover Sport
More models are due shortly.
Featuring a large, easy to read display, large function buttons and on screen prompts the unit is very user friendly, and easy to use. The unit allows you to:
Read and clear fault codes
View live data
Access actuators and control modules

The unit is supplied with one vehicle unlock code, additional unlock codes can be purchased to allow the unit to be used on multiple vehicles.

This code totally unlocks the unit allowing it to be used on any of the Landrovers listed in the .pdf file above.

You will also need the AC adapter BA 5079A to power the unit if it is not attached to a vehicle.
